Permobil steps up its service with a new headquarters.

Permobil is taking an important step in its efforts to increase accessibility, create a more dynamic and inspiring work environment, and enhance customer service by bringing its Stockholm operations together under one roof at Gårdsvägen 10 in Arenastaden, Solna in Stockholm. The move means that approximately 150 employees from the company’s offices in Kista, Spånga, and Rotebro will share a common workplace for the first time.

The new headquarters has been designed with a clear goal: to be as accessible and inclusive as possible. The premises have been carefully planned to ensure that everyone—whether they use a wheelchair or not—can work, meet, and spend time there on equal terms.

The office combines activity-based work spaces with focus rooms and meeting rooms to create an environment that supports collaboration, flexibility, and a productive working atmosphere. By bringing the operations together in one location, communication is strengthened, workflows are simplified, and the conditions for innovation are improved even further.

In addition to modern work spaces, the new premises also include a fully equipped service workshop offering repairs and refurbishment. The aim is to provide customers and users with faster service, shorter lead times, and a more cohesive experience. The facility also features a dedicated assessment room where users, together with a consultant and family members, can receive support in finding and adapting assistive devices that best meet their needs.

"Moving into our new premises in Arenastaden is much more than a change of address; it is an expression of who we are. We have created an environment where accessibility, safety, and innovation go hand in hand, and where our teams can work more closely with each other and with our users. This new headquarters makes us even better equipped to deliver solutions that make a real difference for users around the world," said Chuck Witkowski, CEO of Permobil.

Over the past year, Permobil has worked closely with the property owner Fabege to renovate and adapt of its new headquarters. The aim has been to create an environment that clearly reflects the company’s values and long-term focus on accessibility—the same fundamental approach that characterizes Permobil’s products, services, and innovation efforts.

"We are very pleased that Permobil has chosen to consolidate its operations in Arenastaden. It strengthens the area as a place where some of Sweden’s most prominent companies operate. We look forward to close collaboration and to being part of their continued success," said Hanna af Sandeberg, Head of Market Area Arenastaden at Fabege.
